The Spitfire Heritage Trust aims to establish the first Spitfire Squadron to fly out of Blighty for more than 60 years and to secure a home for repatriated Spitfires.
We know that we are not alone in our belief that Great Britain owes these Spitfires a safe home back here on British soil where British public interest is insatiable.
We intend to begin repatriation of our squadron, bringing them home in time for the celebrations of the 75th Anniversary of the BATTLE OF BRITAIN.
The party that all Spitfires have earned the right to attend !
Perranporth airfield was built especially to operate Spitfires and has been in continuous use for general aviation since released into private ownership at the end of the war.
