We intend to present up to fifty four Commonwealth countries with a "museum quality presentation Spitfire".

A media event will be held on the airfield in September 2015 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Up to fifty four replica Spitfires will be assembled in review order creating a tele-visual opportunity and the setting for formal presentations of the aircraft. 

Each Tribute Spitfire will be the gift of an individual or corporate sponsor who has a special connection with one of the Commonwealth countries. It will comprise a comprehensive diplomatic package culminating in a formal presentation at the 75th anniversary celebrations in 2015.

If you would like to help toward our own Spitfire Heritage Trusts’ Tribute Spitfire you can make a donation, however large or small - and have you name included in the roll of sponsors.

Each Tribute Presentation Programme will include:

​• A museum-quality replica Spitfire. ​

• Diplomatic, PR and promotional support,. ​

• A high definition documentary specific to each ​ sponsor’s tribute for broadcast in the receiving country.​

• Full participation in the Tribute Event at Perranporth.
